Stranded in a deserted desert, I tried grasping sand. It played its role; slipped. For sand is the genre of the desert. Besides sand, I could see water. 'Water!’ my heart screamed; 'Mirage' Said my brain. I believed in water; I played my role. Took me time to reach; I reached. All I could see was burning sand capable enough to engulf my feet. I have my camel too; I cried. My saviour- The stereotypical ship. But I had to quench my thirst first. Was that too selfish of me- I dont know.

My water disappeared. This time my heart called mirage; brain said a 'Hoax'. Cuz' the sand is personified and my brain yelled, 'so is the water, the feet, the camel, the ship, the sun'. It was just a matter of time and all I knew was that I am stranded in a deserted desert with million look-alikes trying to grasp sand.
